Even half-normal? And why does he have to hide bottles all over the house; in the red metal cupboard in the garage, behind the faded orange curtain in the kitchen, under the sink in the bathroom? A devastating loop. You Never Called Me Princess is an honest look at what could happen when a young girl decides to lose weight at all costs. Should be mandatory reading for any parent who suspects their child might have an eating disorder. I believe the novel will show the reader that there are answers to their problems, and that they are not alone.
Highly recommended. An important novel. Gripping and touching, a story written from the heart. Elaine Babich has fashioned a story that many young girls could relate to. In the end we are left with a poignant glimpse into the beauty of family and the love of life and the wonder that connects us all. Kaitlyn, who is only semi-recovered from a serious eating disorder, is diagnosed with serious epilepsy and other health issues. The heroine comes to terms with her disease as she adjusts to her medications, backslides into her eating disorder again, explores relationships with boyfriends age-appropriate , and handles problems with a girl bully.
Her coming-of-age story of self-discovery, acceptance of her imperfect body, and a surprise twist at the end will leave readers with a smile and hope for every teenage girl to overcome debilitating ED illness and difficult family issues. I loved this book and want to recommend it to teenage girls, especially. The heroine is likable, and one to whom YA readers will relate. If her enemy decides to use violence to defeat her, the curse will destroy the souls and spiritual energy, destroying their existence of all worlds and dimensions.
All attacks and weakness are converted into healing and fortification. Even the effects of others' powers are completely reversed. However, as The Ruler functions on the concept of anti-magic inversion rather then magic absorbtion, any magic ment to strengthen her or increase her power will instead weaken her. Despite this weakness, she can easily overcome it by deactivating her own power of inversion. A technique that allows Kaitlyn to cancel any magic that has been cast on an individual. It was shown to cancel the effects of one of her own magical items.
She can even erase the magical energy of an individual by simple snapping her fingers if they 50 metres close to her. After casting this Magic, the surrounding area and all those affected by the Magic appear inverted in color, whilst those unaffected remain as they are. So far, there are only two known variations of Seith Magic: Human Possession, which deals with trapping wandering souls inside objects and manipulating them, and Animal Possession, which deals with trapping animal souls inside the user's body to use whenever they wish.
The acts of expansion and reduction can also be isolated to specific body parts. The Magic's usefulness also extends to expanding the size of weaponry, turning a dagger into a fearsome sword, and even to first-aid, allowing the user to locate, once isolated, life-threatening internal masses and shrink them to negligent sizes. Physical, life-threatening injuries are also able to be tended to, and they can be reduced in size until they are a non-factor.
Even other types of Magic can be reduced and compressed, and then fired back at the original caster as a magnified weapon. Lastly, this Magic can be used as a means of quick assassination, as the user can cause internal organs to swell until they rupture. The magic's limits expand according with the user's magical power. In Kaitlyn's case, for being the most powerful mages of all times, her limit was the entire Planet Earth but she never used it in planets for wanting to rule them and not destroy it.
Kaitlyn can creates whole inter-dimensional space in a continental level, creating an alternative reality based on the original concepts of the true world; creates a reverse world of fantasy and a dystopia. According to Kaitlyn, the world is created by various scenarios made by people's dreams and imagination. The people imprisoned assume the roles of fairy tale and comic characters, though several alterations might be made to the source material. While trapped within the fantasy world, other beings are unable to use their powers. A type of Magic which allows its user to create a psychic copy of his or her body.
This Magic can work even over great distances, allowing the user to essentially be in two places at once. While some Thought Projections are intangible like holograms, used merely for communication, Kaitlyn is able to create a particularly powerful Thought Projection that can physically interact with people and objects, even though it lacks physical form.
The Infinite Dream is a magic that traps the entire world in an illusion, enslaving them in a dream so that their souls and energy may be drawn upon. Once cast, the penetrating light of the Infinite Dream shines across the world, bright enough to dispel the night for as long as it is active. All those who fall under its gaze are trapped in the dream, with the Magician's soul design reflecting in their eyes to represent its influence. Victims of the Infinite Dream are rendered immobile so long as they are under its effects. Guardian of the Master is a gigantic, humanoid avatar made of the user's magic energy which surrounds them and fights on their behalf.
It is the strongest ability available to those who have awakened the Occular magic in both eyes. When activated, the Guardian forms around the user and becomes an extension of their will, acting and attacking on their behalf. By default, Guardian is anchored to its user and they to it: in its less developed forms it will move around with the user; in its more completed forms the user will be suspended within Guardian, being brought with it as it moves around.
This connection allows Guardian to shield against physical attacks, one that becomes more difficult to penetrate as it is manifested more fully. A Magic which grants the caster the ability to manipulate memories. It also gives the user amazing memory capacity, being able to memorize opponent's heart beats, footsteps and Magic. The caster can also create "memories" of themselves which are similar to holograms.
This Magic also allows the user to create new Magic spells by combining spells from other Magic which the user has memorized before. Furthermore, the user is able to negate Magic spells used by the opponent which the user also had already memorized by "forgetting" the spell. This Magic allows the users to enchant or entice their target with their Magic through the use of making direct contact with their eyes. Depending on the Magic, the user can either attack or defend themselves with their eye technique in order to battle, to scan the area, or both in combination with their attack.
Kaitlyn was the first person who acquired this and perfected it over time.

The ultimate curse of death that supposedly erases beings from existence. When cast successfully on a living person or creature the curse causes instantaneous and painless death, without any signs of violence on the body. It is one of the most powerful and sinister spells known to magiciankind. The memento mori magic is recognisable by the flash of purple light and the rushing noise emitted from the caster's wand or hands.
When the curse hits a living, organic target it invariably kills them without injury. The mechanism by which it kills is unknown. It is known by most wizards as Kaitlyn's signature spell. It is possible to intercept the curse with other spells, but this is extremely difficult as it requires the energy jets of the two spells to collide. As the energy jets of virtually all spells are very small and fast, this has only ever been recorded as occurring by accident.
A type of Magic that, when in use, enchants the very ground itself, and, if cast by someone extremely powerful, could potentially affect a region as large as the whole of litoral of New York. It causes a bright light to burst forth from the earth and engulf all caught in its area of effect. Using her eyes, Kaitlyn can instantly teleport herself and others within the area to different dimensions. She can also create portals to other spatial areas. She has full domain over these dimensions and can manipulate their environment at will. Dissolves the barriers of the soul that maintain ones individuality, turns the person in question into primordial soup.
At full power this effect covered the surface of the entire world, merging the souls of humanity into one while drastically altering the landscape in bloody seas. Albeit it was noted that souls with strong will and sense of individuality may eventually return to their original forms. Kaitlyn summons a large meteor capable of mountain level destruction.

She can summon at least one more in addition. This technique is suicidal for those who are not immortal. As they descend in succession along the same trajectory, if one of these meteorites is stopped, she can summon another one which will then collide with the first, ensuring that they crash into their intended destination.
The impact of this technique was of such enormity that it devastated a significant portion of the Mexico during the legendary of the world between Kaitlyn and the Gods. A two-stage attack, where upon performing a sequence of hand gestures, the user unleashes a wave of force upon their enemies that combines the magical attributes of the four elements and multiplies it, and then set off a second, more powerful blast with a snap of their fingers that contains a weakening spell that decreases the resistance of the opponent.
A power that allows Kaitlyn to locate any item or person. She can extend its reach to cover an area of approximately the size of a city. A spell that denies entry to anyone but the caster. Originating from the demon word, the spell surrounds a specified area and reflects all attacks, whether strong or weak, back at the opponent. Despite this, Kaitlyn could use physical magics as well; spells that could increase her physical speed and strength for a period of time of 10 hours or less.
Kaitlyn is a extremely skilled hand-hand to fighter and intuitive learner thanks to her Analystic skills and spells that allow her to see the world in slow motion and increase her physical strength by 40x. As she is able to quickly adapt to seemingly any opponent, then defeat them in a mixture of skill and overwhelmingly power.
Kaitlyn was also able to increase her speed by an insane scale of hundreds times faster than the Earth's rotation. Acquisition method may determine the number, as Kaitlyn gain ten orbs. Only Supreme Gods has been shown to consistently counter the Dimensional Orbs, as natural energy works don't work against itself.
If users are killed or their magic power otherwise disappears, the orbs will disintegrate in a manner similar to black receivers. They can also be used as small black holes that transport anything, including magical and scientific attacks to another dimension that the user created. They can be combined into a massive vortex to even a giant sword of gold which is powerful enough to cut the entire moon in half; and shoot them as projectiles.
When the wings are in combat mode, they start to glow yellow and form symbols of yelow diamons inside between their species. The wings has a deadly directed beam attack capable of melting through an Gods' armor in seconds, and it can sustain the blast for a very long period of time, perhaps indefinitely. The beam is capable of hitting any target within Kaitlyn's firing radius with perfect accuracy, and the wings itself is capable of detecting threats coming up from underground as well as beyond its normal firing range. The potency of its attack makes Kaitlyn too dangerous to engage in direct combat.
It also serves as Kaitlyn's vanguard, protecting her back while she fights in the front. Against the Gods, it briefly shifts into an hourglass-like shape before adopting a shape resembling a three-dimensional cross with six arms and small discs floating over each. On at least one occasion, during her revival in Sleepy Hollow by the hands of Vira Hermes and the Eclipse of Hermes, her cheeks flushed and her eyes welled up with tears when Vira told her Ara sent them to the past to free her.
Ara may hate mortals but she had respect for Kaitlyn for being a mortal who shared her same views of mortals and it is possible that Ara was at least pleased with Kaitlyn's fascination for her being her only mortal follower who joined her cause for loyalty rather than fear. She was the sole mortal whom she bothered to help. Despite agreeing with her Ara's ideology of blood purity of Black Demons and Dark Magicians, she apparently did not care that she herself was a half-blood Nosferatus-Black Demon , if she believed this at all.
Kaitlyn discovered that Idea of Evil was the concept of evil itself and could speak with it mentally. Idea of Evil seems to have acknowledged Kaitltn's worth in the 0th Multi-Universe, all mortals failed to do for lacking the resolve to serve the Greater Evil, referring to Kaitlyn as "her most faithful mortal servant" much like Ara.
Idea of Evil considered Kaitlyn to be a mortal who can only be found every trillion years but was willingly to dispose of her much like Ara once they are no longer useful. However, Vira also shared a friendly relationship with Kaitlyn, she is one of the few people she truly respected and bowed down before Kaitlyn's presence because unlike herself who abandoned her humanity to become a Black Demon, Kaitlyn rose to power using only magic and reached the level of Gods with her own knowledge.
These three common threads helped to fuel Vira's respect for Kaitlyn. Kaitlyn, unlike Vira, never really liked Heles for being too arrogant. She later discovered Heles was once human and became a Black Demon after joining Ara to survive, a coward person who wanted to live outside of her post-Apocalyptic world. Heles, also shared the same distrust in Kaitlyn. Although she is genuine in her mistrust of Heles, it's quite likely that she was also envious of the position of trust and respect Heles enjoyed under Ara Astaroth but it was never really expressed as Kaitlyn was sastified with her own empire.
Heles saw Kaitlyn as a hearthless monster who saw eveyone as tools and pieces of chess, making her a vile manipulator who deserved nothing but disdain and misery. When Kalawarner finally fell and swore herself to the Dark Magicians, she realized she'd been tricked but could never go back to the light side and the only option she had was to follow Kaitlyn's paths and help her in her aims to find a purpose in existence. Kalawarner follows Kaitlyn like a shadow and is insanely fanatical to the point of cutting her own flesh to perform rituals in the hope she could free Kaitlyn from her prison.

Like Vira Hermes, Shalba was one of Kailtyn's most trusted followers. Shalba was not fanatical like many others but he was so loyal he didn't dare to look in the eyes of his leader. However, when Kaitlyn said she was going to kill Yuri Barnes' parents, whom were under the protection of Fernando, Seilah dared to say to not kill Fernando, resulting in her suffering mental torture for days. After that, Seilah became extremely fanatical and was willing to take most of enemy attacks abusing of her immortality to protect Kaitlyn.
It is evident that Kaitlyn views Jerome very highly and claims that if she wasn't around, there would be a lot more work to do, meaning she only saw him as useful and could easily be replaced by other magicians. Wizzro was among the most cowards servants of Kaitlyn who sacrificed everything just so she could spare his life.
Kaitlyn expected Wizzro to force the Witch Cult magician to leave the Second Magician War, but it was only eight members instead, which caused Kaitlyn to shout out at Wizzro in anger. After that, she kicked Wizzro off the building, calling him "pathetic". It could mean he still following her by fear or lost his cowardice and wanted to redeem himself by being useful for once. Kaitlyn's exact relationship with Lilithmon is unknown but she seems to respect Lilithmon's compotence, as she allowed her to study her own grimoires, somethign that Kaitlyn is not fully okay.
Hedalf was one of the few members she had the effort to remember the name.
Kaitlyn planned to use the Symmone as one of her pawn to spread despair to the world and wipe out human society. Kaitlyn appears to be the only person Symmone genuinely cared about. She was the only member of Order of Darkness who knew that Kaitlyn was just using them, but she didn't care, as she was so grateful for Junko for "shining light into her empty world". But above all, she would get extremely angry if one dared to stare at her too long or even say her name instead of using her nicknames. She planned to become her successor herself based on the Vira's advice, but ended up giving up on this goal after she realized that she hadn't the power, resolve and courage to take over her place.
In fact, at that point Emeraude was willing to sacrifice and give absolutely everything to serve Kaitlyn with the best of her abilities. In essence, Emeraude's loyalty is only matched by fellow Dark Magician, Symmone. Emeraude knows that Kaitlyn had a disappointing father, her blood status as a half-blood, but doesn't care about it. However, for all of Kaitlyn's public claims, she never truly cared for Emeraude any more than as a useful servant who is as easily disposable as any other, as Kaitlyn never wanted a friend, only their power and usefulness.
Much like other fanaticals, Kaitlyn physically and verbally abused Aversa, kicking her and calling her disgusting for her fanatical and sexual behavior towards her. The only reason why she endured her existence is because she was too powerful to simply be discarted, making her the most durable and annoying member of Order of Darkness. Kaitlyn also seems to treat her like a personal maid, as Aversa is seen massaging her legs.
Aversa refers to Kaitlyn as the only person who truly loved and paid attention to her, but Kaitlyn never viewed Aversa as anything more than a tool and never felt any love towards her rather, she was always disgusted to keep such lewd woman among her forces. Even so Kaitlyn never truly feared Moloch and was extremely excited to see such arrogant demon king to be backstabbed and destroyed by Astaroth, which never happened.
In term of sense, she was not afraid of him because of her immortallity, considering at the time she was weaker than him. As she became more powerful, she did not long fear nothing beside death itself. In later centuries, Kaitlyn's massive legacy left behind milions of different spells, tactics, grimoires and objects that could help Moloch, the Fallen's Essence and other malicious beings in their conquest.
By the time that Kaitlyn was already a demi-goddess, he began to show her a degree of respect by calling her as "Overlady of Darkness", her dreadful nickname before saying she was no longer a child, making her a worth opponent of his wrath and power. After Kaitlyn's defeat, Moloch and other forces of evil ended the truce and returned to their activities. Kaysie despised Kaitlyn much like the rest of her siblings, not only for latter's continued opposition, but also because Kaitlyn's belief in the triumphant power of Dark Magic was something that both confused and disgusted Kaysie. The fact that she was a mortal with the power subjugate other demons also helped in her hatred but when Kaitlyn's demi-goddess and Mars' powers came to surface, like her father, she began to take her legend with seriousness.
However, as stated by others, it was supposed to be expected as she was a powerful ally of Ara Astaroth, one of the few people Moloch truly feared. Hungry for power, Kaitlyn immediately challenged the God to a combat to steal his powers but at the time, Kaitlyn was known for being naive and young, so much that Hidden One decided to play with her for a short period of time during their fight until he was injured by her God Slayer magic, forcing him to end the fight with seriousness. Upon being defeated, Kaitlyn said to Hidden One to end her life as a weakling like her should not be allowed to live in this world, following her ideology that weaklings are unworthy of life.
However, much to her surprise, Hidden One refused to kill her after he found a powerful mortal user of magic. Because of her determination and ambition, Hidden One seems to be somewhat protective of her, almost treating her like a daughter, such protecting her from Inquisitors of Witch Cult when they found her location and giving her meals when she found herself inside of her room performing rituals for days without rest. Kaitlyn, saw him as the best teacher she had since the day she left Mana World as she thought having a God teaching her spells of divine beings.
One of his teachings was the teleportation, telepathy and helped her in her research for immortality using the Relics to split her souls. After 10 years under his teaching, Kaitlyn backstabbed Hidden One after she deemed him useless for teaching too fast in a short period of time. However, the Hidden One easily defeated her once again but before he could end her life for her treason, she teleported away while laughing. Much to Hidden One, he felt as if he had lost something as Kaitlyn was the first mortal he had contact with.
Pure-blood supremacists consider themselves to be the elite of the wizarding world, akin to royalty, with Kaitlyn being one of them. Pure-bloods, and even half-bloods, who do not share this view are considered traitors to their own kind, hence the term "blood traitor. The Dark Wizards are the most common type of members participating in these movements. Kaitlyn and her army targeted blood traitors during the First and Second Magician Wars because they opposed their goals.
However, even most Dark Magicians were reluctant to kill pure-bloods, even "traitorous" ones, if it could be avoided. Similarly, although disdaining half-bloods and considering them inferior, they recognised that there were not enough Pure Blood families left and so if only begrudgingly , accepted half-bloods in their new world order. The most extreme of the pure-blood supremacists like Kaitlyn seek to purge the world of those they consider "impure.
Supremacists have debated amongst themselves whether humans and human-borns should be subject to death or slavery, but it is generally agreed the general goal of pure-blood supremacy is a world where humans are relegated to a lesser role. At the very least, some amount of human would need to be kept alive if only to keep producing half-bloods who again, are accepted out of necessity. Kaitlyn, on the other hand, is one of the few who still votes for the total extermination of humans by slavery; basically wipe out human race little by little instead of a quick holocaust. However, this Magic requires 10 years of training to complete, and it comes with equally risky effects if performed incorrectly or in its incomplete state.
In the aftermatch, the user creates an army of mindless slaves but the affects are heavily damaging the Earth's rotation. Some other variations are:. Also known as World Reconstruction Magic, Kaitlyn, by firstly enchanting the land, can manipulate the very geography of the ground itself, with the ability of compressing the land to as much as five percent or less of its original size, thereby altering the entire landscape. The true purpose of this Magic is the power of bringing certain things or people to specific areas and locations.
The user's able to summon enough dead people to take down entire armies, and the only way to truly stop it is to destroy the book itself, after which the Demon God will have to wait at least three days and three nights before he or she can use it again. Copies have been traced to 18th-century German pamphlets, but an printing, aided by the appearance of the popular press in the 19th century, spread the text through Germany and Northern Europe to German Americans and eventually helped popularize the texts among African Americans in the Southern United States and the Caribbean and Anglophone West Africa.
The work is divided into two books. The first book contains instructions for summoning a demon and for the construction of tools with which to force the demon to do ones bidding. The Sanctum Regnum contain instructions for making a pact with the demon, allowing one to command the spirit without the tools required in book one, but at greater risk. Secrets contains simpler spells and rituals one can employ after having performed the ritual in the first book. Petit Albert English: Lesser Albert is an 18th-century grimoire of natural and cabalistic magic.
The Petit Albert is possibly inspired by the writings of St. Albertus Magnus. Brought down to the smallest hamlets in the saddlebags of salesmen, it represents a phenomenal publishing success, despite its evil reputation -- or because of it. It is associated with a second work, the Grand Albert.
It is a composite or heterogeneous work, and perhaps a bric-a-brac, collecting texts of unequal value written by or attributed to various authors; most of these authors are anonymous, but some are notable such as Cardano and Paracelsus. It's a relatively old text, although the attribution to Albertus Magnus is dubious, particularly as it quotes from so many later sources. After many years the book was discovered by a group of Babylonian philosophers repairing Solomon's tomb.
The Angel of the Lord appeared to him and extracted a promise that he would keep the text hidden from the unworthy and the wicked, after which he was able to read it plainly. The Key of Solomon is divided into two books. It describes not the appearance or work of any spirit but only the necessary drawings to prepare each "experiment" or, in more modern language, magical operations.
Unlike later grimoires such as the Pseudomonarchia Daemonum 16th century or the Lemegeton 17th century , the Key of Solomon does not mention the signature of the 72 spirits constrained by King Solomon in a bronze vessel. As in most medieval grimoires, all magical operations are ostensibly performed through the power of God, to whom all the invocations are addressed. Before any of these operations termed "experiments" are performed, the operator must confess his sins and purge himself of evil, invoking the protection of God.
Elaborate preparations are necessary, and each of the numerous items used in the operator's "experiments" must be constructed of the appropriate materials obtained in the prescribed manner, at the appropriate astrological time, marked with a specific set of magical symbols, and blessed with its own specific words. All substances needed for the magic drawings and amulets are detailed, as well as the means to purify and prepare them. Many of the symbols incorporate the Transitus Fluvii occult alphabet.
The Iberian Cyprian is not a single text but multiple texts in Spanish and Portuguese, mostly from the 19th century. There was, however, a now lost pre-modern Cyprianic literature with no apparent connection to any extant works beyond being inspired by the Cyprianic legend. The Portuguese version of the Book of Cyprian often bears prefixes such as "Great and True," "Only Complete," or "Authentic," and typically subtitled "The Sorcerer's Treasure" ou thesouro de feiticeiro. Most editions start off with the legend of St Cyprian and commonly contain sections on alchemy, astrology, cartomancy, conjuring devils, divination, exorcisms, ghosts, hidden treasures, love magic, luck magic, omens, oneiromancy, palmistry, and prayers.
Some editions also contain the success stories of a French peasant named Victor Siderol, who purportedly discovered hidden treasures thanks to the book. The Brazilian forms of the Sorcerer's Treasure vary drastically, though the Portuguese editions are rather stable at least in comparison. It is said to be the most powerful wand that has ever existed, able to perform feats of magic that would normally be impossible even for the most skilled wizards, such as mending another wand damaged beyond normal magical repair.
The wand was named as Forbidden Wand due to being the former weapon of the Overlady of Darkness and was kept inside of Mana World's 43 Chambers as a historical, magical and dangerous artifact. For many centuries, the Forbidden Wand was the symbol of power by many magicians and some of them even tried to steal it to obtain supreme power, leading many to corruption and megalomania.
Trozganoth are tall beings that have long scaly arms, sharp claws and feet, and small wings. They have been seen wearing lower bottom armor and a sun-shaped helmet with a terrifying face. Standing at cm 29'6" in height, they are larger than Red Demons and have slender but muscular bodies. Trozganoth are known to make heavy use of spells that govern over death. Depending on the individual, most of them have power levels in range, making them the most powerful foot soldiers the Earth had ever seen. Following Kaitlyn's defeat, they entered in hibernation state and disappeared on the florests of Amazon, staying asleep under the rivers for thousand years.
Their sapience is heavily debated: they are sentient enough to taste and sense fear, being drawn to it and the promise of positive memories that it can feed off of. They can also consume a person's soul, leaving their victims in a permanent vegetative state, and thus are often referred to as "soul-sucking fiends", rendering a person an 'empty-shell'.
They appear to attack by first surrounding their targets, cutting off any escape, then descending upon them all at once to feed. Its body the size of a plow horse and its legs stretching some 14 feet. They delighted in causing suffering and pain in others, but especially so in mages whom they hunted for food.
The Kegthon seemed to be some form of supernatural demon predator. Kegthons had spider-shaped bodies, with long fore-legs ending in razor-sharp claws. Just as with spiders, Kegthons had a lethal bite, but rather than a venom to which demons were immune , they injected a vile fluid, a type of necrotic liquid, that caused accelerated rotting of the flesh and bones. They are loyal to nobody besides Kaitlyn whom they saw as their mother, and it resulted in their races operating against the Cultus Pythonissam alone as they too aggressive to cooperate with other demons and Dark Magicians.
After Kaitlyn's defeat, they all hid in underground caves in Australia, where they built a massive nest of billions, waiting for the moment for their mother to revive and command over their horde again. Each of these hands had five razor-sharp claws extending from them, as did the feet. They also had the same ability to transform other creatures into their kind. In order to assist them in their hunts, Meths could use a terror gaze that immobilized their unfortunate victim, making the feast all the easier for the Meth.
Meths themselves were immune to fear and had no consciousness unlike the previous demons aforementioned. Most wounds inflicted on them would heal in a matter of moments. After the end of the Hundred-Year Darkness, the Meths were abandoned by Kaitlyn and left to infilict as much pain as possible upon Yuri Barnes' new world in an attempt to destroy his new civilization. Anything they devoured was eventually transported directly to Kaitlyn's temple once they rested. Their purpose was solely to give Kaitlyn more parts of human flesh so she could perform Aranist rituals and create more types of demonic beings.
A Tegoluth demon resembled an enormous toothy mouth surrounded by small brown appendages. Their small appearance made they less dangerous than other demons but their massive numbers were a nightmare to many magicians. The rending teeth of Tegoluth demons could do devastating damage to their victims if they fell under the demons' relentless attacks. Zez'gon are foot tall humanoid creatures that resemble a cross between an oversized ogre and a minotaur. Its hide is thick and hairy, its features bestial, and its body powerfully muscled. It has cloven hooves in place of feet; and two enormous horns jut forwards from its skull.
These creatures view a Zez'gon presence as a sign of Kaitlyn's great pleasure; chaos, pain and suffering. After Kaitlyn's defeat during the end of her empire by the hands of 50 Gods, the Zez'gon entered in a mourning state and committed suicide in a last demonstration of true loyalty. Xanaros' Shadow demon were different from all the rest of demons serving Kaitlyn; they reveled in corrupting souls and capturing them to sell and trade for the Hell Lords or Astaroth King so they could keep their alliance with Kaitlyn's empire while the Gulas were selfish but poweful demons who devoured the souls amd magical powers of mages so they could increase their power levels.
Even so, their loyalty to Kaitlyn continued to be the same even although they had their own objectives in mind. Shadow demons preferred to attack in ambushes. They were able to create an area of darkness around themselves that was impenetrable. Although their bodies were incorporeal, their claws became corporeal upon touch and easily rent flesh. The Gulas had no strategy and charged towards their enemies with only brute strength, abusing of their own resistance against magic powers.
Otchs was a race of demons created by Kaitlyn during the Second Magician War. They were primarily used as flankers, attacking light magicians from the sides as the demons and dark mages slaughtered the forces of Witch Cult from the front, surrouding them. After Kaitlyn abandoned her army to go in a journey to achieve more power in Qliphoth, the Otchs fled from the empire, abandoning their masters as they were only beside them for orders of Kaitlyn.
They fled to Africa's continent, were they all lived like normal animals until the Sin of Kaitlyn disappeared from the Earth, turning them into normal hyenas and leaving them with no intelligence but animal instinct. A Rolvalon looked like a segmented eel with a powerful tail attached to a clawed humanoid upper body, bulging eyes, and a mouth full of fangs.
They were generally very big creatures but could grow into truly immense size. Rolvalon were most easily described as arrogant bullies. They bullied others into submission and terrorized their environment, among others by encouraging people of evil temperament to become pirates and other criminals. They were one of the few demons under Kaitlyn's command to have intelligence to speak and even built whole societies.
Even after the two defeats of Kaitlyn, the Rolvalons kept themselves loyal to her and lived on the bottom of the seas until the destined day she would come back to take back the world. The ring was a golden featureless band that was constantly covered in a layer of frost that never melted. It was extremely cold to the touch and could numb the hand of its wearer. It did not seem cold to someone who had been attuned to it, however. The ring made it impossible for the wearer to be detected through divination magic, rendered its wearer immune to cold, and halted aging entirely.
It also constantly attempted to take control of its wearer to compel them to cause unnecessary harm and destruction. The ring was capable of quickly and permanently lowering the temperature of a ft It could create inanimate objects and animated creatures made of ice. The energy spent by the ring to do any of these effects was regained daily at dawn. As it was capable of altering the fabric of reality, its possible uses were virtually infinite. Some examples of its effects included destroying magical items, transporting creatures back in time, restoring the dead to life, summoning extraplanar beings such as slaads, creating gemstones, casting the disintegrate spell, playing music, and more.
Once activated, it could be shut down by a successful dispel magic spell or by coming into contact with an antimagic field. These weapons were particularly effective against creatures with a tie to the Elemental Plane of Fire. Magical flames could be extinguished half of the time by using a frostbrand. If ambient temperatures fell below freezing, the frostbrand was capable of emitting light just like a torch.
Frostbrands also provided protection as a ring of fire resistance. For its power to deny fire, one of the elements of nature, the swords were gathered by Witch Cult and sealed in the chambers of Mana World for protection. The satellite, once successfully prepared, fires an extremely large, destructive beam of Magic upon the desired location said Magic contains Fire Magic, among other elements , that completely obliterates the target area, leaving only dust behind.
It's strong enough to destroy a small country like Venezuela or Cuba. Cain, a farmer, became enraged when the Lord accepted the offering of his brother Abel, a shepherd, in preference to his own. He murdered Abel and was banished by the Lord from the settled country. Cain feared that in his exile he could be killed by anyone, so the Lord gave him a sign for his protection and a promise that if he were killed, he would be avenged sevenfold.
The biblical story may have intended to explain why a certain tribe, called Cain, had a special tattoo mark and why this tribe always severely avenged any murdered member. The story also may explain why that tribe lived the nomadic rather than the settled life. Some biblical critics believe the tribe of Cain was the Kenites. According to Irenaeus and other early Christian writers, a gnostic sect called Cainites existed in the 2nd century CE.
The narrative never explicitly states Cain's motive for murdering his brother, nor God's reason for rejecting Cain's sacrifice, nor details on the identity of Cain's wife. Some traditional interpretations consider Cain to be the originator of evil, violence, or greed. According to Genesis, Cain was the first human born and Abel was the first to die. Hecate or Hekate is a goddess in ancient Greek religion and mythology, most often shown holding a pair of torches or a key and in later periods depicted in triple form.
She was variously associated with crossroads, entrance-ways, light, magic, witchcraft, knowledge of herbs and poisonous plants, ghosts, necromancy, and sorcery. She appears in the Homeric Hymn to Demeter and in Hesiod's Theogony, where she is promoted strongly as a great goddess. The place of origin of her following is uncertain, but it is thought that she had popular followings in Thrace. Hecate was one of the main deities worshiped in Athenian households as a protective goddess and one who bestowed prosperity and daily blessings on the family.
In the post-Christian writings of the Chaldean Oracles 2nd—3rd century CE she was regarded with some rulership over earth, sea, and sky, as well as a more universal role as Saviour Soteira , Mother of Angels and the Cosmic World Soul. Regarding the nature of her cult, it has been remarked, "she is more at home on the fringes than in the center of Greek polytheism. Intrinsically ambivalent and polymorphous, she straddles conventional boundaries and eludes definition.
Euripides, on the other hand, mentions her mother is Leto. Other writers claim her as the daughter of Zeus and Demeter, Aristaion or Night. The goddess was frequently associated with Demeter and even assimilated to her in some cults. From the 5th century BCE, the goddess is associated with the darker side of the human experience, that is death, witchcraft, magic, the Moon, dreams, fierce hounds and creatures which roam the darkness of night.
Hesiod goes on to say that the goddess supports warriors, athletes, hunters, horsemen, herdsmen, shepherds, fishermen, and children. Her companions are the Furies Erinyes , the winged creatures who punished wrong-doing, and her children are the Empusae, female demons partial to seducing travellers.
Isis was a major goddess in ancient Egyptian religion whose worship spread throughout the Greco-Roman world. Isis was first mentioned in the Old Kingdom c. She was believed to help the dead enter the afterlife as she had helped Osiris, and she was considered the divine mother of the pharaoh, who was likened to Horus. Her maternal aid was invoked in healing spells to benefit ordinary people.
Originally, she played a limited role in royal rituals and temple rites, although she was more prominent in funerary practices and magical texts. She was usually portrayed in art as a human woman wearing a throne-like hieroglyph on her head. During the New Kingdom c. In the first millennium BCE, Osiris and Isis became the most widely worshipped of Egyptian deities, and Isis absorbed traits from many other goddesses. Rulers in Egypt and its neighbor to the south, Nubia, began to build temples dedicated primarily to Isis, and her temple at Philae was a religious center for Egyptians and Nubians alike.
Isis's reputed magical power was greater than that of all other gods, and she was said to protect the kingdom from its enemies, govern the skies and the natural world, and have power over fate itself. Their worship diffused into the wider Mediterranean world. Isis's Greek devotees ascribed to her traits taken from Greek deities, such as the invention of marriage and the protection of ships at sea, and she retained strong links with Egypt and other Egyptian deities who were popular in the Hellenistic world, such as Osiris and Harpocrates.
Her devotees were a small proportion of the Roman Empire's population but were found all across its territory. Her following developed distinctive festivals such as the Navigium Isidis, as well as initiation ceremonies resembling those of other Greco-Roman mystery cults. Some of her devotees said she encompassed all feminine divine powers in the world. The worship of Isis was ended by the rise of Christianity in the fourth and fifth centuries CE.
Her worship may have influenced Christian beliefs and practices such as the veneration of Mary, but the evidence for this influence is ambiguous and often controversial. Isis continues to appear in Western culture, particularly in esotericism and modern paganism, often as a personification of nature or the feminine aspect of divinity. In the mural, a diabolical figure, standing on one side of the door, is holding a very long pole with a pair of red boots tied to the end.
A woman on the other side is holding the boots with one hand; it seems that she is examining or admiring this offering.

However, Sko-Ella did more than stir up some trouble. She has done something that even made the devil tremble. Sko-Ella, as the reconstructed story goes, had been longing after a new pair of shoes for quite some time. In the meantime, the devil had been longing to create some trouble between a married couple. He employed Sko-Ella for that very purpose, in exchange of the shoes. It is unclear if they had any sexual relationship, as is customary in witch-devil pacts.
To get the task done, Sko-Ella told the wife that her husband was having an affair; in order to once more possess his love, she must cut off a lock of his head in the dead of night. To the husband, however, Sko-Ella told a much darker story: his wife was planning to kill him, said the cunning woman, so he must remain awake during the night and be prepared. The wife approached with a knife. Believing that everything Sko-Ella said was about to come true, the husband jumped out of the bed and killed his wife on the spot.
Ella demanded her reward, but her method was so cruel and bloody that even the devil became afraid — after all, all he wanted was just discord and perhaps the end of the marriage; but that end needed not to be death. Now realizing what kind of woman he was dealing with, the devil did not go anywhere near Sko-Ella. After his death, Flamel developed a reputation as an alchemist believed to have discovered the philosopher's stone and achieved immortality. These legendary accounts first appeared in the 17th century. According to texts ascribed to Flamel almost years after his death, he had learned alchemical secrets from a Jewish converso on the road to Santiago de Compostela.
As Deborah Harkness put it, "Others thought Flamel was the creation of 17th-century editors and publishers desperate to produce modern printed editions of supposedly ancient alchemical treatises then circulating in manuscript for an avid reading public. The historical Flamel lived in Paris in the 14th and 15th centuries, and his life is one of the best documented in the history of medieval alchemy.
He ran two shops as a scribe and married Perenelle in She brought the wealth of two previous husbands to the marriage. The French Catholic couple owned several properties and contributed financially to churches, sometimes by commissioning sculptures. Later in life, they were noted for their wealth and philanthropy. Flamel lived into his 70s, and in designed his own tombstone, which was carved with the images of Christ, St.
Peter, and St. Records show that Flamel died in His will, dated 22 November , indicates that he was generous but that he did not have the extraordinary wealth of later alchemical legend. There is no indication that the real Flamel of history was involved in alchemy, pharmacy or medicine. After having narrowly escaped being burnt at the stake by the authorities in Westphalia who had charged him with sorcery, the German Count Alexander Leopold Anton von Rantzau secretly gave him refuge in Holzminden.
Sometime after , Falk arrived in London. He was a neighbour of Emanuel Swedenborg and there is some evidence that he had a significant influence on him. Many stories exist regarding Falk's extraordinary powers. According to one account, Falk made secretive visits to Epping Forest in his carriage, where he was said to have buried some treasure.
On one of these occasions a wheel came loose from the vehicle on the Whitechapel Road, but followed the carriage all the way to the forest. When Falk ran short of coal, he was said to have performed a magical feat involving three shirts and a ram's horn. Falk was also able to keep candles burning miraculously, and to transport objects from one place to another. Some claimed that he had saved the Great Synagogue from fire by writing something in Hebrew on the pillars of the door. His family moved to Paris when he was four years old, and he received his education there. He joined the French Theosophical Society shortly after it was founded by Madame Blavatsky in —, but he resigned soon after joining because he disliked the Society's emphasis on Eastern occultism.
In , he co-founded his own group, the Kabbalistic Order of the Rose-Croix. That same year, he and his friend Lucien Chamuel founded the Librarie du Merveilleux and its monthly revue L'Initiation, which remained in publication until Encausse was also a member of the Hermetic Brotherhood of Light and the Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn temple in Paris, as well as Memphis-Misraim and probably other esoteric or paramasonic organizations, as well as being an author of several occult books.
Despite his heavy involvement in occultism and occultist groups, Encausse managed to find time to pursue more conventional academic studies at the University of Paris. He received his Doctor of Medicine degree in upon submitting a dissertation on Philosophical Anatomy.
He opened a clinic in the rue Rodin which was quite successful. Encausse visited Russia three times, in , , and , serving Tsar Nicholas II and Tsarina Alexandra both as physician and occult consultant. In October , he allegedly conjured up the spirit of Alexander III, the Tsar Nicholas's father, who prophesied that the Tsar would meet his downfall at the hands of revolutionaries.
Encausse's followers allege that he informed the Tsar that he would be able to magically avert Alexander's prophesy so long as Encausse was alive; Nicholas kept his hold on the throne of Russia until days after Papus's death. Although Encausse seems to have served the Tsar and Tsarina in what was essentially the capacity of a mediumistic spiritual advisor, he was later curiously concerned about their heavy reliance on occultism to assist them in deciding questions of government.
During their later correspondence, he warned them a number of times against the influence of Rasputin. Agrippa was born in Nettesheim, near Cologne on 14 September to a family of middle nobility Many members of his family had been in the service of the House of Habsburg.
Agrippa studied at the University of Cologne from to , age when he received the degree of magister artium. The University of Cologne was one of the centers of Thomism, and the faculty of arts was split between the dominant Thomists and the Albertists. It is likely that Agrippa's interest in the occult came from this Albertist influence.
He later studied in Paris, where he apparently took part in a secret society involved in the occult. In Agrippa traveled to Spain to work as a mercenary. He served as a captain in the army of Maximilian I, Holy Roman Emperor, who awarded him the title of Ritter or knight. He was given the opportunity to lecture a course at the University on Hebrew scholar Johann Reuchlin's De verbo mirifico. The book was probably intended to impress Margaret. On 8 April he dedicated the then unpublished first draft of De occulta philosophia On the Occult Philosophy to Trithemius, who recommended that Agrippa keep his occult studies secret.
Proceeding to the Netherlands he took service again with Maximilian. In the king sent Agrippa on a diplomatic mission to England, where he was the guest of the Humanist and Platonist John Colet, dean of St Paul's Cathedral, and where he replied to the accusations brought against him by Catilinet Expostulatio super Expositione sua in librum De verbo mirifico. In the reply he argued that his Christian faith was not incompatible with his appreciation for Jewish thought, writing "I am a Christian, but I do not dislike Jewish Rabbis".
Agrippa then returned to Cologne and gave disputations at the university's faculty of theology. Agrippa followed Maximilian to Italy in , and as a theologian attended the schismatic council of Pisa , which was called by some cardinals in opposition to a council called by Pope Julius II. During his time in northern Italy Agrippa came into contact with Agostino Ricci and perhaps Paolo Ricci, and studied the works of philosophers Marsilio Ficino and Giovanni Pico della Mirandola, and the kabbalah. In he lectured at the University of Pavia on the Pimander of Hermes Trismegistus, but these lectures were abruptly terminated owing to the victories of Francis I, King of France.
In the efforts of one or other of his patrons secured for Agrippa the position of town advocate and orator, or syndic, at Metz. The consequence of this was that in he resigned his office and returned to Cologne, where he stayed about two years. He then practiced for a short time as a physician at Geneva and Freiburg, but in went to Lyons on being appointed physician to Louise of Savoy, mother of Francis I. In he gave up this position, and about this time was invited to take part in the dispute over the legality of the divorce of Catherine of Aragon by Henry VIII; but he preferred an offer made by Margaret, duchess of Savoy and regent of the Netherlands, and became archivist and historiographer to the emperor Charles V.
Margaret's death in weakened his position, and the publication of some of his writings about the same time aroused anew the hatred of his enemies; but after suffering a short imprisonment for debt at Brussels he lived at Cologne and Bonn, under the protection of Hermann of Wied, archbishop of Cologne. By publishing his works he brought himself into antagonism with the Inquisition, which sought to stop the printing of De occulta philosophia.
He then went to France, where he was arrested by order of Francis I for some disparaging words about the queen-mother; but he was soon released, and on 18 February died at Grenoble. He was married three times and had a large family. John Dee 13 July — or was an English mathematician, astronomer, astrologer, occult philosopher, and advisor to Queen Elizabeth I. He devoted much of his life to the study of alchemy, divination, and Hermetic philosophy.
He was also an advocate of England's imperial expansion into a "British Empire", a term he is generally credited with coining.
